Our Commitment to Accessibility Standards

In 2019, StreetLight started a significant redesign of the StreetLight InSight® user experience. A key goal of the redesign was to comply with the accessibility standards promoted by the United States through the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 USC § 794d).

In addition to the wonderful new high-contrast color scheme delivered in Release 7.1 on October 1, 2019, we meet most of the accessibility requirements of the Website Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level A/AA standards.

We also trained our product development, support, and marketing teams on the requirements for developing accessible software and content so we can maintain an ongoing commitment to accessibility.

Finally, we periodically contract with a third-party expert in accessible design and remediation to audit our software to identify outstanding compliance issues or gaps, and to maintain the StreetLight Data Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT) (download).
