Monthly Average Daily Traffic (MADT) is the average vehicle count per day at a given location throughout the course of one month. These counts are estimated via loop counters, blue tooth sensors, temporary counters, and more. MADT can be measured using permanent counters or can be derived via short-duration temporary counts that are expanded and then normalized to represent a full month.
