All About Logging In

This guide will take you through how to log into StreetLight InSight®, the Support Center, and various errors you might encounter when trying to log in.


Note: If you are a new user trying to log in for the first time, see Initial Account Set Up and Logging into StreetLight InSight® for the First Time before this article.

Logging into StreetLight InSight

This section will talk about logging into StreetLight InSight, and accessing the app.

  1. Go to

  2. Input your email and password.


    Note: If you forgot your password, click "Forgot Password?" on the log in page to reset your password.

  3. Click "Login" or press "Enter" on your keyboard.

    Note: Login sessions expire after eight hours of inactivity. This means that generally, you will need to log in once per day. If you have already logged in today to StreetLight InSight, either directly or via the Support Center, when you access StreetLight InSight within eight hours, you will bypass the login screen and be taken to your last location within the app.

Common Error Messages when logging in to StreetLight InSight

  • Incorrect Password or Email Address


    Message: Error - Login failed. The email address or password you entered was not valid. Note that passwords are case sensitive.

    This error will occur if you have typed the wrong password or username. Your email address is your username. Keep in mind that our passwords are case sensitive! If you forgot your password, click "Forgot Password?" button underneath the login button. This will prompt a password reset.

    Note: Passwords are case-sensitive, eight or more characters, have at least one capital letter, and have one number or special character. Spaces are allowed.

  • Inactive Organization/Account


    Message: Error - The account associated with this email address has been deactivated. Check with your administrator to see if your organization's StreetLight InSight® subscription is active. If you feel you have reached this message in error, please contact

    This error will occur if your login has become inactive due to the expiration of the subscription or other reasons. If you see this error and you feel your account should still be active, please contact Support.

    Troubleshooting Tips:

    • If you are having trouble logging in, make sure you have cleared the cache in your browser and try again.

    • Try resetting your password by clicking "Forgot Password?"

    • Try logging in with a different browser, especially if you are working with Internet Explorer.

    • Finally, if all else fails and you can't log in please contact Support.

Logging into the Support Center

This section will guide you through logging into our Support Center.

  1. Go to

  2. Click "Sign In" in the top right corner of the Support Center.

  3. Log into StreetLight InSight

    Our Support Center login is connected to StreetLight InSight. If you are already logged into StreetLight InSight when you click "Sign In," you will be logged in automatically to the Support Center. If you are not logged into to Streetlight InSight, you will be taken to our StreetLight InSight login page. Then follow the instructions in the first part of this article.

    Once you have logged in via our app, you will be taken back to the Support Center.
