On February 6, 2019 StreetLight InSight version 6.3 was made available to all users. This update included the usual small improvements and fixes as well as the following improvements to help you get one step closer to accomplishing your mission.
OUR UPDATED LOOK
The next time you access StreetLight InSight, you will notice our updated brand, inspired by the open road and by the same intersections, sidewalks and bike paths that you all work so relentlessly to make safer and more efficient. Although our look is evolving, options and workflows for creating analytics remain the same.
MORE PROJECT TYPES FOR BIKE AND PEDESTRIAN MODE
Now it’s easier for you to scan bicycle and pedestrian patterns in any region! O-D to Pre-set Geographies analyses are now available for bike projects on all zone types and pedestrian projects in area (non-pass-through) zones.
NEW: SAMPLE SIZE FOR VISITOR HOME AND WORK ANALYSIS
Transparency is one of our team’s top priorities, and we now include a new sample size CSV file with all Visitor Home and Work projects. Please note that Visitor Home and Work Approximate Device Counts are not comparable with other projects.
MORE DATA MONTHS
October and November 2018 data months are now available for all types of analyses. With this, the default months for all supported LBS data sources has been updated to 2018 months.
A note on Personal Navigation-GPS data: Due to some providers changing their data gathering mechanisms, they are not present in this data source starting with October 2018. We recommend you use the Location-Based Services with Pass-through data source for all Personal travel analyses.
And as always, we welcome questions or feedback to help break up any congestion on your StreetLight InSight journey!
