AADBT

Annual Average Daily Bicycle Traffic (AADBT) is the total bicycle count for a year on a given location divided by 365 days.  This metric is estimated via loop counters, blue tooth sensors, temporary counters, etc. AADBT can be measured using permanent counters or can be derived via short-duration temporary counts that are expanded and then normalized to represent a full year.

An AADBT value may be used to calibrate bicycle analyses, but it is not a separate analysis type like 2017 AADT. Learn more about How to get estimated trip counts using calibration
